ForChore Privacy Policy

ForChore (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a family-task and allowance app available on iOS, the web and related services. Your privacy matters to us; this policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. By creating a ForChore account or using the app you agree to the practices described here.
1-What we collect & why

No credit-card numbers are stored by us. App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
2- How we collect information
Directly from you – when you sign up, create chores or write gratitude notes.
Automatically – via Firebase Analytics (events & device info) and Apple StoreKit (purchase receipts).
From your family members – e.g. when a parent adds a child profile.
3- Who we share it with

4- International Transfers
Our servers are hosted on Google Cloud in us-central. If you live outside the U.S., your data is transferred under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.
5- Security
- End-to-end TLS (HTTPS) on every request
- Passwords hashed with bcrypt
- Firestore rules isolate each family’s data
No method is 100 % secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
